Supporting Carlie through Grade 4-Kidney Trauma

Carlie Lumpkin is a 10-year-old little athlete that lives in Bay St. Louis. She had a water slide accident May 26th that caused a grade 4-kidney laceration with current draining. Needless to say, she is still trying to recover and the doctors are trying to save her kidney, which has required an extended hospital stay.

Treatments include strict bed rest with close monitoring of vital signs until gross hematuria has resolved. As any parent would do, Hailey and Robby Lumpkin have been by their daughter’s side throughout it all and with the extended stay they have acquired additional cost for hotel, food, gas, and medical bills. The Lumpkin family has been very active in our community organizing or coaching softball and soccer teams!!
